The Education Department of SCFDEMS strives to provide up-to-date content for Continuing Education.  We reinforce that continuing education plays an important role with the delivery of quality patient care.  We encourage and accommodate employees in their efforts to upgrade their knowledge and skills.  Our training program exceeds the recertification requirements not only of the State of California, County of Sonoma, but also the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians requirements for recertification. 

Our classes accommodate all shift schedules, and are designed to allow participants the ease of convenient registration for employees of SCFDEMS via e-Services.  Scheduled In-House classes are held on a monthly basis – with no cancellation of classes.  Outside classes require a minimum number in order for classes to be held at off-site locations.
